Based in Norwich, Ontario, all Norwich Packers beef is hand-processed to ensure a nicely trimmed product & AAA graded beef. Made using only beef free from antibiotics & growth hormones and raised on small, family-owned Ontario farms since 1954. Fed a 100% vegetarian diet and low-stress living conditions, this meat is tender, lean and high-quality. Fresh, never frozen.
United Meat Packers
United Meat Packers was founded in 2001 and has quickly become one of the major role players in the Ontario lamb industry. United Meat Packers meat products are packaged to guarantee freshness and quality, and Maunders Marketplace carries both their pork and lamb in-store.
Stuart Caroll Quality Meats
Stuart Caroll Quality Meats works with small family-run farms where cattle are primarily grass-fed with no added hormones, and where antibiotic use is restricted.
Poultry
King Capon Chicken
King Capon grows most of the chickens themselves and they are fed a balanced diet consisting of wheat shorts, distiller’s grain and soy which allows them to achieve the ideal weight without compromising their quality of life. The chicken is air chilled which prevents water absorption (common with water tumbling or ice packing) and in turn enhances the flavour of the meat.
